Richard L. Katz, President & CEO
Richard L. Katz, has over 30 years of experience in the Sports industry. He has negotiated, drafted and reviewed countless employment contracts for elite professional athletes in the US and around the world. He has negotiated Executive Compensation Agreements in the Sports industry for highly regarded Head Coaches in the NCAA, both football and basketball, as well as Division 1 Athletic Directors. He is also well versed in Executive Compensation Agreements for members of the broadcast media, both radio and TV. He has been credited for negotiating some of the top above market contracts for Coaches in the NCAA. He is an expert in not only assessing and obtaining value for his clients but in negotiating vital contract language. He is a Certified Contract Advisor with both the National Football Players Association (NFLPA) and the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA).
Richard received his Juris Doctorate from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Law and has been admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio. He is a highly respected member of the National Sports Lawyers Association. He has served on both the Board of Trustees for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.
He has lectured at numerous law schools in the US as well as many sports related seminars and is currently an adjunct Professor of Sports Law at the Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.

Tom Crain, Chairman & CFO
Tom Crain, business professional and principal at KMG Sports, spent 30 years as a financial analyst and investment manager at one of the most prestigious investment firms in the world Scudder, Stevens & Clark. Tom’s experience and credentials in the financial industry were developed while serving as a Partner at the firm. His affinity for finance and understanding of its implications on the sports industry, brings tremendous value to KMG Sports’ clients.
Tom and his wife, Cathy, both retired from Scudder, Stevens & Clark when it was sold to the Zurich Insurance Group in 1998. Tom is a graduate of West Point, where he served five years in the military and earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Cincinnati.
KMG Football Group
John Jackson, Executive Vice President
John is a retired, 14 year NFL Offensive Lineman who joined KMG Sports in 2005. John provides KMG Sports’ clients with personal and professional advice, and is responsible for client recruitment and endorsement negotiation. His extensive career and reputation in the industry qualifies John as a specialized “career longevity coaching”. In addition to client relations, John administers customized training programs for rookie and veteran clients.
John was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers where he played left tackle for for 10 years. He spent the following two years with the San Diego Chargers and then his final two seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. John retired in 2003 as a Pittsburgh Steeler. As an NFL All-Pro, John played in over 200 games over the course of his career; a feat accomplished by less than one percent of all players who have ever played in the NFL. He was voted to Sports Illustrated’s “Top Tackles of the Nineties”.
John received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He is an Ed Block Courage Award recipient, member of the NFL Alumni Association, and NFL Retired Players Association. John was inducted into the Eastern Kentucky University Athletics Hall of Fame (2008) and the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame (2009). He has also been selected to the Eastern Kentucky University All-Century Football Team.
John has retired from full time participation in daily activities of KMG. However, he continues to provide his expertise in strategic planning for KMG, as well as advanced specific position training for NFL players.
Michael McCafferty, Attorney & NFL Certified Contract Advisor
Mike has been a practicing attorney in Cincinnati, Ohio since 2004. He has handled a wide array of legal matters for his clients, predominantly in the areas of small business advising, business litigation, real estate, and contract drafting/negotiating. Mike is licensed to practice law in both the State of Ohio and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Mike is a 2004 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School. At Vanderbilt, Mike received the Scholastic Excellence Award for his accomplishments in the area of Small Business Management as well as the Legal Service Award for his work in the Nashville legal community. Mike also earned a Certificate of Specialization in the Area of Law and Business from Vanderbilt Law School and Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
Mike was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, graduating from St. Xavier High School before moving on to Miami University. At Miami, Mike earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. Mike has been very active in the Cincinnati community, participating in the Big Brothers Program and other related philanthropic endeavors.
Mike brings a significant amount of business and legal experience to the company, where he assists with client recruitment, development, and contract negotiation. He is a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA).
KMG Basketball Group
Brandon Hunter, President of KMG Basketball Group & NBPA Certified Player Agent
Drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 2003 NBA Draft, Brandon is an NBA veteran having played with the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, and short stints with the Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Bobcats, and Cleveland Cavaliers. Following his time in the NBA, Brandon continued his professional basketball career overseas where he played in several top leagues in countries such as Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, Germany, and Israel.
Brandon is the President of the KMG Basketball Group managing the basketball operations for the company both in the NBA and overseas. Brandon has negotiated contracts in the NBA, and many countries around the globe. He is NBA and FIBA certified. Brandon manages the recruitment and development of basketball clients of KMG. His experience, knowledge and keen sense of what it takes to be a successful professional athlete, on and off the court, provides unequal value to KMG clients. “He has been there and done that”.
He has a unique ability to evaluate talent while being responsible for maintaining an ever-expanding network of both NBA and international talent. His vast playing experience provides a limitless network of contacts in the NBA and internationally. This experience and knowledge provides KMG clients with a unique perspective reserved for the basketball elite.
Brandon is an Ohio native, having attended Withrow High School in Cincinnati and Ohio University in Athens. While attending Ohio University he garnered several awards including 1st Team All MAC, All American, and led the nation in rebounding his senior year. Brandon graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Health Services Administration with a minor in Organizational Communications. Recently he has continued to work with Winning Ways Pro-Advantage Training out of Orlando, Florida where he assists in individual workouts, player promotion, and athlete development.
Alvin “Bo” Dukes, Vice President of Basketball Operations
Alvin “Bo” Dukes is the Vice President of Basketball Operations assisting in managing the KMG basketball division both domestically and overseas. Dukes has represented players both overseas as well as in the NBA and NBA D-league for over eight years.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Bo Dukes excelled in high school, ultimately playing collegiately at Xavier University in New Orleans from 1979 to 1983. Bo led the “Gold Rush” of XU for four years earning him All-American honors after the 1981-82 season. Upon finishing playing collegiately, Bo began his professional career in Sweden, where he played for two seasons. After two years overseas, he returned to the United States where he played in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) for the Detroit Spirits.
In the summer of 1986, Dukes made it all the way into the training camp of the NBA’s New York Knicks. After another stint with the Spirits in 1987, Dukes continued his career in Europe where he played for 10 years, winning eight championships in various leagues throughout Europe. Alvin “Bo” Dukes was later inducted into the state of Louisiana’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 1992.
Bo brings a vast network around the globe and knowledge of the game of basketball, both domestically and internationally, to the KMG team and is an essential part to the basketball division.
Jon Schroeder, Director of Basketball Operations
Jon Schroeder joined KMG Sports in 2016 after over 5 years working around the game of basketball at both the collegiate and professional levels. As KMG’s Director of Basketball Operations, Jon assists with the recruitment, development, management, placement and contract negotiation of clients represented by KMG both domestically and overseas. Jon utilizes his legal background in helping draft and analyze player contracts as well as maintaining an understanding of both the NBA’s salary cap and collective bargaining agreement. In addition to his basketball responsibilities, Jon has experience in web development, social & digital media, advanced analytics, and a deep knowledge of many of the current day legal issues surrounding professional sports.
Prior to KMG, Jon spent time working for the Men’s Basketball program while at Xavier University as a student manager from 2009-2013. Following his time at Xavier, Jon spent time working within the Indiana Pacers’ front office during the 2013-14 season assisting in draft preparation, Free Agency and later assisting the Director of International Scouting evaluating both college and overseas prospects during the 2014-15 season.
Jon is from and currently resides in Cincinnati having graduated from both St. Xavier High School and Xavier University. He is currently working towards his Juris Doctorate at Northern Kentucky University’s Chase College of Law.
KMG Soccer Group
Benjamin Schiano, President of Soccer Operations & United States Soccer Federation Licensed Player Agent
Ben joined KMG in June of 2014 as a Data Research intern and excelled in the role leading to his rise as the President of Soccer Operations where he manages every facet of KMG’s Soccer division. Ben has a keen sense of US and Overseas Soccer and an underlying knowledge and understanding of the game. Ben’s vast network around the soccer globe allows KMG to put its clients and allow them to reach their full potential.
Ben recognizes that each client brings something unique to the table and makes it his goal to pair each client’s qualities with the right situation. Ben has a wide array of contacts throughout the MLS, USL Pro, NASL, and other top professional leagues in the United States. Beyond the United States club contacts, Ben has established an international network of connections with leagues all over the soccer world, which truly allows KMG to place their clientele in the best situation for their career. In addition to his soccer duties, Benjamin assists in managing KMG’s social media network including monitoring and updating client information into real time updates.
Ben resides in Cincinnati having graduated from Xavier University cum laude, with a major in Sports Management, and with minors in both business and communication arts. He is currently pursuing his Juris Doctorate at the University of Dayton School of Law.
George Lamptey, Executive Director Of International Soccer Operations – Africa and Europe
George Lamptey is a former Professional soccer player, having played in the NASL in the United States. He is the author of “The Ten Bridges To Professional Soccer” and a producer of the Youth All Star Instructional Video. George is the former youth soccer instructor for San Jose City, and Evergreen Colleges. George is a FIFA, and United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Licensed coach. He has the passion, extensive experience, and a deep knowledge of the game of soccer. George is also the founder and CEO of High Level Sports Academy, a non profit organization which educates and develops youth soccer in the Bay Area. He has coached several teams, and players in the Bay Area for over 30 years. George is a very accomplished soccer coach having won a US National Championship, a Regional Championship, Regional finalist (4), State Cup Championships (6), State Cup finalist (4), Spring/Fall League titles (23), Tournaments Championships (20), District II Championships (12). Many of his former players have gone on to play NCAA Division 1, Division II, J.C Colleges, MLS, U.S Men and Women National teams.
George has directed soccer camps, clinics, private, and small group technical sessions for youth and adults George has been very active in the Community Outreach Programs, helping to educate thousands underprivileged youth, and low-income single parents families, building their self-esteem through sports.
George has worked and scouted for many European Clubs including Sporting Lisbon, Benfica, (Portugal), Olympiacos (Greece) Club Brugge, Anderlecht, Beerschot, Lierse, Lokereen, KAA Ghent (Belgium) Heerenvneen, (Holland), A.C.Milan, Udinese, Napoli, (Italy) Caen, Monaco, Stade Rennes, (France), Borussia Dortmund, Cologne, Eintracht (Germany) Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Senegal, Sudan, Gabon, Ivory Coast, South Africa, and Mali (Africa) and numerous Major Soccer League teams (MLS).
Winston White, Executive Director of International Soccer Operations – Caribbean and Europe
Winston is a former UK professional soccer player with nearly 600 league games under his belt. That qualifies him to bring a firsthand knowledge of player and soccer experience to KMG. He is responsible for the agency’s International operations, specializing in Europe and the Caribbean. After a career ending knee injury, Winston applied his undoubted discipline to the academic world, gaining a BA Hons degree from Birmingham University (UK) and an MBA from Aston Business School (UK) where he specialized in business, sport and leisure management. Winston has worked for the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) in a variety of roles in the media. He acquires soccer talent for a number of professional clubs finding players across the UK and Caribbean islands. His passion for the game is only matched by his expert knowledge and business acumen. His dedication and professionalism to his sport of choice, has allowed him to maintain a very impressive network of contacts in the soccer world. Winston was recently appointed to blueprint a number of Caribbean grass root soccer reports that ultimately received FIFA funding based on his skilled consultation.
KMG Baseball Group
Jesse Taylor, Director of Baseball Operations
Jesse grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a three-sport athlete in football, wrestling, and baseball at Glen Este High School and was named 2005 Southwestern Ohio Marine Core Student-Athlete of the year. Jesse is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati (2011), where he played baseball for the Clermont branch and participated in high competition summer leagues. He double majored in Psychology and Spanish, graduating Cum Laude with a 3.9 GPA and with high honors in Spanish, earning Dean’s List Honors 16 straight quarters. Jesse studied in Central America and Madrid, Spain, where he became fluent in the Spanish language and developed a strong understanding of Hispanic culture and lifestyle.
Jesse received his Juris Doctorate at NKU Chase College of Law in May of 2017 graduating Cum Laude. He was the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and a member of the National Trial Advocacy Team. Jesse has received Dean’s List honors at Chase and has competed nationally in Civil & Criminal Trial competitions (2016 Kentucky State Competition Semi-finalist). Jesse also competed nationally in the Major League Baseball Arbitration Competition. Jesse plans to practice law in both Ohio and Kentucky, as well as player representation in both MLB and NFL.
Jesse manages KMG’s Baseball division. His diverse background in sports, law, negotiations, and trial practice makes Jesse an effective member of the KMG executive team. His vast experience with the Hispanic culture, population, and language offers our clients a unique opportunity internationally and domestically. His desire, work habits, and client-first mindset, combined with the expertise of KMG, creates a strong foundation that, first and foremost, focuses on our client’s success.
Amanda Siegrist, Attorney
Amanda has both a legal and sport management background, having earned her Juris Doctorate from NKU Salmon P. Chase College of Law and has been admitted to the State Bar of Ohio. Amanda graduated summa cum laude with a 4.00 GPA from Wingate University with an accredited degree in Sport Sciences, earning President’s List Honors all four years. She was an All-SAC athlete during her time at Wingate University while also serving as captain of the University’s volleyball team.
The unique combination of Amanda’s legal education, sport management experience, understanding of the industry, and proficiency with contracts qualifies her to assist in client recruitment, event management, and contract drafting and negotiating.
While maintaining responsibilities at KMG during the summer, Amanda is an assistant professor of recreation and sport management throughout the school year, teaching courses in sport law at both the graduate and undergraduate level.
Jody McMillin, Executive Assistant
Jody enhances the communication, personal attention, and service throughout the company. She is an integral member of the KMG Sports Executive Team and handles the day-to-day operations of both the office staff and company clients. Furthermore, she manages the office payroll/accounting functions, monitors company expenses, and coordinates travel and special events for the executive team and their clients.
A native of Northern Kentucky, Jody is actively involved with the Taft Museum of Art and local charities including the Lord’s Gym and Pantry.
