NFL Combine Training

KMG Sports utilizes an extensive network to explore and develop new and innovative combine training strategies.  We recognize that each athlete is unique, with individual needs, and there is no universal combine training plan.  KMG has developed flexible combine training program options geared toward enhancing athletic performance in any situation.

PLAN A - Ignition Combine Training
The Ignition NFL Combine Program is based on results-driven methodologies, uniquely suited to the needs of each athlete.  The combination of individualized attention along with intense group sessions gives athletes the "total package" opportunity to focus on improvement in areas most needed for Combine test day.  The training programs are geared toward improving speed, strength, and skills specific to the testing at the Scouting Combine.

PLAN B - REMOTE Combine Training
The remote combine training program gives the athlete the option to:

  • Train at a selected facility approved by KMG and the athlete.

PLAN C - On-Campus Training
KMG?s primary concern is with the athlete reaching their highest level of potential in the most advantageous atmosphere possible.  Therefore if it is in the best interest of the athlete, KMG will participate in the coordination of on-campus training.



NBA Pre-Draft Training


We utilize our vast resources, experience, and relationships to help each client achieve their highest level of potential.  Our exclusive pre-draft program has produced some amazing results by implementing an intensive program which focuses not only with on-court preparations but off the court as well. 

Our pre-draft training program is designed to fit the specific needs of each client by applying comprehensive training regiments.  Clients will have the opportunity to work individually with nationally recognized coaches and former professional athletes from around the country to obtain these goals.

Marketing & Endorsements

Contract Negotiation

KMG has solidified itself in the sports marketplace as one of the premier contract negotiating firms.  Collectively negotiating and having under contract over $225 million in client revenue during the last 5 years.  Our management team uses extensive preparation, research, and planning to generate maximum compensation for our clients.  We strive to establish new standards in the industry.

Richard L. Katz has negotiated professional playing contracts for over 30 years as a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League Players Association and the National Basketball Players Association.  He has negotiated NFL contracts for players at every position and with every NFL team on multiple occasions.  He has negotiated NFL first round contracts to seventh round, rookie free agents, restricted free agents, and unrestricted free agents.  He has negotiated NBA first round contracts to free agent contracts and negotiated contracts for basketball players at every position.

We believe negotiation is not based solely on numbers set by previous teams and players.  There is an intrinsic value to each individual athlete that must be determined.  Our experience and skill allow us to calculate and capitalize on that value.  We pride ourselves on attention to detail.  There is no substitute for preparation, research, and planning.

Community Relations

We encourage our clients to participate in charitable and socially conscious activities both in their hometown and the city where their club is located.  KMG is prepared to assist the athlete in foundation development, event planning, media awareness, fund raising, and any other charitable program in order to achieve this objective.

KMG has had the privilege in assisting in the planning and implementation of several charitable organizations such as:  The Shaun Alexander Foundation and The John Jackson Foundation.  Each foundation has raised money to significantly impact local communities.
